Russia has rejected the appointment of L.J. Krieshok as Acting High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, calling the move illegitimate and inconsistent with the Dayton Peace Agreement. Moscow says only the UN Security Council can approve a High Representative, renews its call to close the Office of the High Representative, and criticizes Western countries for bypassing established procedures
