FIIs Increased Stake By 3.15% And DIIs Increased Stake 8.85% In March Quarter In AWL Agri Business

Foreign institutional investors and domestic institutional investors both increased their stake in Adani Group Company AWL Agri Business Limited, formerly known as Adani Wilmar Limited, in the March 2025 quarter.

Foreign institutional investors increased their stake. 

FIIS increased its stake in AWL Agri business by 3.15% to 4.31% in the March quarter, and this is the highest holding of FIIS in AWL Agri business since listing. as of the Financial year 2025, FIIS's holding stands at 4.31% in AWL Agri business, GQG partners likely buy stake in Adani's this company

Domestic Investors also increased their stake. 

Domestic investors, also known as DIIs also increased their stake in AWL Agri business by a massive 8.85% in the March quarter to 8.90%. ICICI Prudential multicap fund, Mirae Asset large and midcap fund, and Nippon Life India Trustee are buyers 

Public increased stake 

Along with foreign institutional investors and domestic institutional investors, the public also increased its stake in AWL agri business to 12.08% in the March quarter.

Promoters Sold Stake 

Promoters of AWL Agri Business Limited sold 13.52% stake in the March quarter due to SEBI rules, and these rules suggest that promoters of the company cannot hold more than 75% of the shares in a listed company. The minimum public shareholding rule mandates that at least 25% of a company's outstanding equity shares be held by the public, which is defined as non-promotor shareholders. This means that if promoters hold more than 75%, they are required to divest additional shares to the public to comply with the MPS rule. 

Shares of AWL agri business closed flat at Rs 268.50 per share on Friday, and shares of AWL agri business limited are still trading 68% lower
