Trump also stated that he would impose additional import taxes on cars, semiconductors, and pharmaceuticals, beyond the reciprocal tariffs, at a later date.

2)Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) Selling: There has been a consistent outflow of funds by FIIs from the Indian market. Factors contributing to this trend include concerns over the Indian economy's growth prospects, currency volatility, and global economic uncertainties,In current month FIIs already sold shares worth Rs 24,889 Crore

3)Sector-Specific Challenges: The pharmaceutical sector faced a 2.7% decline due to regulatory hurdles and pricing pressures. Additionally, the financial sector experienced a 0.7% drop following the Supreme Court's decision to reject review petitions from telecom companies, adding to investor concerns.
